Ranju Ramachandran
For Ranju, Kathak is more than a dance form. It is a discipline, a passion and a lifelong journey of expression. Trained in the Lucknow Gharana for over 15 years under Smt. Nirupama Rajendra and Sri T. D. Rajendra, she brings deep knowledge and experience to her teaching.
Her journey also includes six years of Bharatanatyam training, specialised study of Karanas from the Natyashastra, and workshops with renowned Kathak maestros including Pandit Birju Maharaj and Padma Bhushan Kumudini Lakhia.
Ranju has performed extensively across India as part of Abhinava Dance Company and as a solo artist. She also presented her solo recital Akhilam Madhuram in 2019. At Passionfoot, she brings this experience into a focused and supportive learning environment, helping students develop technique, discipline and expression.
